On Friday, March 13, 2020, Cabrillo Unified School District (CUSD) Superintendent Sean McPhetridge announced:

“In order to address rising public health concerns about community spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), CUSD will be dismissing students from school.”

The Boys and Girls Club of the Coastside (BGCC) works in close partnership with CUSD and we are following their lead on this important public health question.

All CUSD/BGCC facilities (the Event Center and the Cunha Soccer Complex) are closed while school is closed.

Our Cunha After School Club and Teen Center are closed as long as CUSD is closed.

CUSD teachers are developing plans for remote learning.  BGCC staff remain available to assist members to stay on track during this disruption.  We have computers and Chromebooks we can loan.  Our staff can help Members with homework and assignments. We will reach out to Members through email and text to organize support.
