Donor Recognition
The BGCC staff, Board of Directors, and community work together each year to raise funds to ensure all BGCC programs remain accessible for local youth. Our generous donors help provide all of the money needed for BGCC to run local programs and pay staff. Funds are raised in several different ways:
Individual giving — Many individuals from the community give generously to support the Club.
Grants — BGCC staff apply for grants available for specific programs. Grant money is often restricted, so it can only be used for what is explicitly written in the grant.
Special events — Events such as the Gala are sponsored and organized by local individuals and businesses to raise funds for the Club’s general fund.
None of this happens without you. We are deeply grateful to the many individuals who choose to support the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastside.
