Safety
Ensuring child safety is fundamental to the mission of Boys & Girls Club of the Coastside. The safety and well-being of young people in our programs is our highest priority. We work every day to create a safe, fun environment for our Club members. We have ZERO tolerance for inappropriate behavior of any kind, including child sexual abuse or misconduct, and we put resources behind that commitment.
Facilities
BGCC partners with Cabrillo Unified School District (CUSD) and the greater Coastside community to help build and manage facilities to serve the youth in our area.
BGCC Board of Directors
BGCC is governed by an active, volunteer board of directors. Its primary roles include:
- Establishing identity and strategic direction
- Ensuring necessary resources
- Providing oversight
The BGCC Board of Directors is a strategic, engaged group who represent various Coastside communities. Board Members serve renewable three-year terms as outlined in the BGCC bylaws. The Board is supported by several committees, including Finance, Safety, Fund Development, Governance, and Communications. If you are interested in serving on a committee or being nominated for the Board, please reach out to the current BGCC president.
